Maker’s Market Friday Sept 10th!!!

In Uncategorized on September 10, 2010 at 3:51 am

Hello everyone!!!

I hope this update finds you all well! It’s been a while since i’ve sent out any updates, for several reasons (a major one being that August is a month that most people go on vacations… so I stayed home and worked on a bunch of stuff that I’ve been putting off … like paper work  and gardening :) … and I had the honour of catering the wedding of two VERY special friends whom I love – being a part of this special day in this way was so incredible!

I’ve also been dreaming of being able to put a calendar of events up on my web page – with everything that I plan on doing this month … ah it would be so lovely and organized – but alas… that’s not yet happened –  however LIFE is happening which is equally lovely I assure you!! I will be sending out more updates soon!!!

SO what’s happening now … well today  I found out that B LOVE will be at the Art Crawl Maker’s Market, Friday Sept 10th at Christ’s Church Cathedral 252 James Street North, from 7pm – 11ish!!! So i’ve been busily preparing as much yummy food as my  two hands can (and thankfully Peter’s too) in preparation for this fun evening!!

If you’ve never been to the art crawl – come on down and check it out – it’s really great!! Please stop by, say hi – grab a treat(s) as you crawl the street!!!

with love and gratitude!

In Uncategorized on July 15, 2010 at 3:20 am

Hello B lovely friends :)

I hope you are all enjoying your summer days … they fly by so make sure to cherish each and every moment possible.

A bit of an update, last weeks catering event was received warmly, the event was a hit and so was the food! Pictures will be posted on the facebook group page. It’s always wonderful to be able to expose a large group of people to raw vegan food. Plates were stacked and overflowing, the colours were incredible and the help of some amazing woman made it all possible! Mom, Pat and Margaret – many many thanks for your beautiful spirits, experienced giving hands, and a whole lot of energy!!! Love you so much and am very grateful to have you in my life :)

So what else is happening here at the cottage? Well I’ve been working on special orders, enjoying some much needed time spent with family and friends, Peter is busy working away on his Hamilton fringe play Canada’s Heroic Farces, I’ve had to say good bye to a family friend that passed this week and have been remembering an incredibly special woman that passed a year ago who is always in my heart!

SO what NOW (you ask)?  Well I’m still working on special orders and also preparing lots of delicious items for Market on Thursday July 22nd!!

  • I’d like to try a new time slot, so the market will be open from 4:30pm – 7:30 pm
  • here at the Green Cottage: 56 Ferrie St West.
  • Please remember to bring your own re-usable containers ( a variety of sizes recommended)
  • Also please be prepared to pay with cash.
  • If you’d like to order a large batch of some of your favourite items please give me a call at 905.526.6458 so we can discuss the details.

Other items to know about…

So with that – I bid you goodbye – looking forward to seeing you at the market if not before :)

Be well and have a great day!!!

Love,

Barbara-w
